Suitable for crushing tough, fibrous, entangled or large-sized materials. High crushing efficiency and relatively low noise. Usually used for coarse crushing or pre-treatment to reduce the size of large pieces of material for subsequent processing.
Usually composed of one or more pairs of knife rollers rotating in opposite directions, with sharp blades or teeth on the knife rollers. The material enters between the knife rollers and is broken by the shearing, tearing and squeezing of the blades.
